Leadership management praxis of the directive team to implement collaborative work among teachers

Authors

Abstract

This article presents an investigation about school leadership whose objectives were to recognize, describe and analyze the management praxis of the management team in the implementation of collaborative work between teachers in a school in Paine (Metropolitan Region of Santiago de Chile). The investigative process was carried out in the first half of 2022. The methodological pillar of the investigation was the interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach, phenomenological-hermeneutic method and empirical phenomenological design. The semi-structured interview technique was used with open questions. The answers were recorded in an interview recording instrument. The questions were validated by a group of experts, and then applied to a sample group. In the analysis process, a priori categories emerged, educational leadership and collaborative work, and an emerging nuclear category, teaching reflection. These allowed us to build a management model, called tetrahedral connection, that explains how these categories manage to surround and keep the management praxis immersed to implement collaborative work, in such a way that this praxis is contained within them.
